SBCD Korean Tofu House – New Spicy Red Crab Soontofu with Free K·FISH x Yoon Si Yoon Tote Bag

Starting August, SBCD Korean Tofu House is introducing the Korean Red Crab Meat (Hong Ge) Soontofu $23.90 for a limited time period. They are also giving out free goodies (a tote bag and pouch featuring K·FISH and ambassador Yoon Si Yoon) when you share a photo of the new soontofu dish to SBCD Korean Tofu House’s Facebook or Instagram. While stocks last.

The brimming bowl of spicy stew comes with a very generous portion of crab leg meats, two mussels and two prawns, alongside smooth silky tofu and an egg yolk. The hot stone rice and classic side dishes with crispy fish are part of the meal too.

Needless said, the stew is still one of the best I had in Singapore – Robust, flavourful and spicy.

As a long time fan of SBCD Korean Tofu House, I am glad that the quality has been rather consistent over the years. Nonetheless, prices of the soontofu have increased, and the Corn Tea (which used to be complimentary) is now chargeable at $1 per person.

For a bowl of stew to cost more than $20, that has to be one hell of a stew – and in my personal opinion, it is still worth the buck. I would return for the (seafood) soontofu though! But hopefully no more surprise spike in my next visit.
