MOH preliminarily confirms 178 new cases of COVID-19 infection; Total tally at 45,961


As of Sunday noon (12 July), the Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed an additional 178 cases of COVID-19 infection in Singapore.

This brings the total number of infection cases to 45,961.

There is one case in the community, who is a Singaporean.

In addition, there is one imported case who had been placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arrival in Singapore.

MOH shared that the vast majority of the new cases are Work Permit holders residing in dormitories.

The Ministry will share further updates in its press release tonight.
